Hello everybody! I'm a quality engineer in a Chinese food company. Because of my career, i'm aware of the quality of the things i eat. My mom got breast cancer a year ago, and now she is suffering a cancer transfer(lung cancer). Besides the chemotherapy, she eats Vitamin E, β, protein and other health pruducts of Amway Nutrilite. I really want to know whether it is proper to eat Nutrilite for the purpose of slowing down the worsening of the cancer. Is the quality of Nutrilite in China the same as that of in America?
Thank you so much! I appreciate every response from you warm-hearted people!

Hi Alan,

We are very sorry to hear the news of your mother but at this forum, I doubt if you could get replies to your question as we are all quality professionals discussing on the quality concepts. I doubt if there are doctors in this forum to let you know if Nutrilite works for cancer.

Hope you have consulted the doctors and your mother under medication as per doctor's advice.

Wish her a speedy recovery.

Hi Alan,

I echoed what Ajit posted. Since I am not a doctor, I will refrain from commenting on what you posted.

The following are just some of my thoughts:

1. I doubt if any Amyway products are manufactured in China. In Asia Pacific, I think some products are manufactured in Australia.

2. Who told you that Nutrilite can help cancer? I am quite positive that such information does not come from the manufacturer.

3. Being in the food industry (I assume you know something about FDA & approvals), I think you are in a better position than many to make a more 'informed' and logical decision.

This stuff is sold through a multi-level marketing scheme...

There are some interesting references when you "Google."

Here is one of them:

Buyer beware.
