" We are into design of pressure vessels, shop
fabricated tanks, steel structures for our fabrication unit".

Could anyone explain how we can comply with Design and Development V& V

Current System here is:

Design Verification

The DE shall hand over the calculations (original and check print) to the SDE to ensure that the engineering procedure is fulfilled and client requirements are met.


Design Validation

Design validation will be done through the following:


Through software whose results have earlier been validated.
Through performing manual calculations and comparing the results with
software’s output or Code examples.


Are we complying or not? please advice

For verification, you may want to add: as well as compliance to relevant standards such as ASME for pressure vessels or local engineering design standards for structures.

Otherwise, they are OK because this is what most engineering design consultants do.
