Hi, I'm in the market for gage calibration services.

I found Conbraco which could do everything we need, but I'm curious if anyone has other places they'd recommend.

We're located in Columbus, OH.

Thanks,

Emily

"Good" and "inexpensive" aren't necessarily compatible terms in this context. Try something like this source (http://www.macraesbluebook.com/search/product_company_list.cfm?prod_code=1141650&region=Ohio-OH), and note the "Send RFQ" links for each listed supplier.

Have not been involved with overseeing calibration in a couple of years but back when I had this system I used Transcat for what I needed to send out. What was nice is that they had a driver run a regular route that they would pick up and drop off our equipment from our plant.
Service and price were ok as I rember ( which is getting harder to do as I age:cool:)
Here is the link that shows they are close to where you are.

I have moved this thread to this forum, since it involves Calibration. You should get some responses here, besides the ones you have already received.

I think Detroit Testing is still in business. They are a pretty big outfit and have a long track record.

Try Caltronix out of Rochester NY, I have used them for the past 10 years.

I have had personal experience with Dynamic Technology - they have their original labs located here in Hartland MI and others in Cleveland, Chicago and Dalls/Ft Worth. They are very capable and, of course, ISO/IEC 17025 accredited.

Thank you. The lab manager from OCS has contacted me, and they sound like a very good solution.
