Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points = haacp Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (FDA program) = haccp Bookmark this site (http://www.acronymfinder.com/) for future help with abbreviations and acronyms or cut and paste this into your browser http://www.acronymfinder.com/ When you do a google (or other search engine) search for course, training, or other info, consider using the entire term in quote marks thus: "Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point" Jim Wynne 5th April 2008, 12:16 PM When you do a google (or other search engine) search for course, training, or other info, consider using the entire term in quote marks thus: "Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point" :topic:Using quote marks can limit the hits unnecessarily, and mask potentially useful information. In this case, simply Googling hazard analysis (no quote marks) is better (imo) than using the whole phrase, and much better than using the whole phrase in quotes. In general, putting search terms in quote marks should be done only when you really need to limit the search to sites containing that exact word or words. jwl84 5th April 2008, 09:58 PM How is Haacp and Haccp different? harry 5th April 2008, 10:24 PM How is Haacp and Haccp different? I think the difference is just in they way the acronym was created. If you refer to FDA sites, it always refers back to HACCP when you make queries on HAACP. If you are referring to details, then generally there's the FDA HACCP and the Codex Alimentarius (http://www.codexalimentarius.net/), a FAO and WHO standard created for world-wide use (outside US) and generally based on the FDA HACCP. |
