Does QS 9000 require a supplier to FORD has a separate area for for final inspection and where is it stated in the requirements?

I know of no such requirement. Why do you ask?

I ask this because some FORD people from a specific department told our production manager that this was a requirement. Personally I was not aware of this , I did not find anything about it in QS9000 but I wanted to make sure that I was correct by telling these people that I had no intention of making a separate inspection area.

We supply Ford and other auto firms and are QS9000 registered.

It sounds to me the guys at Ford to whom you refer have definitely got the wrong end of the stick

I don't think I could be that polite, Marc. I would say two words, the second of which would be "off"

I take the "...Show me...." route.
