Design input could come from many documents, Marketing Requirements Document, System Requirements Document, Business Plan, Market Need Assessment and many other such sources. These are then condenses into a System Requirements Specification with and a Requirements Allocation Documents.

There are many fine examples of these documents here. Try a search using the various document names.

Go to the top of the screen and click on "Post Attachments List." In the screen that follows, in the "Optional Keyword" field, type design input and hit Enter. See if anything there might help.

What should I include in product performance requirements as a part of design input documents??

Any document/piece of information that states the performance requirements/expectations of the product you're designing. There is no specific format or document required.

Hello lorenw,

Can you be a little more specific? It would help if you could tell us what industry or what type of business you're in. Many times, the proper context helps us to provide a more specific answer.

Jim Wynne,

I didn't start this thread, but I had the same requirements ... an example of a design input doc.

The item you sent a link for was great. (And now I know how and where:yes: to search for the rest of the examples I need).

Thank you very much,
Candy

Candy, welcome to the Cove! Thank you for the first post indicating that you received some help here.

The search through attachments is a great tool. There is lots of stuff here to help. Also, feel free to jump in a thread and shed some words of wisdom.

Anyway, welcome!:bigwave:
