Sir,
Can somebody provide following information.
1. How many certifications available under AS 9100 scheme.
2. Which certifcation is applicable to whome.
3. Are different certifications available, have different standards or it is a same standard for all certifications.
4. What are the important points to be implemented (other than ISO 9001) to achieve this certification (In brief)

A quick look at some other threads would suggest that if you did a search in this specific forum, you will probably get what you're looking for right here. Only on page two (the one next to this current page of threads) is a post about the differences with ISO 9001. By doing a search will help to reduce the number of same/similar posts with the same/similar answers!
If, once you've looked through the others threads you still have questions, please feel free to post the specific questions.

Can somebody provide following information.
1. How many certifications available under AS 9100 scheme. as of April 13th, 2008 @ 11:00 AM PST, 8615 certificates. Check the OASIS database. (http://www.sae.org/oasis)
2. Which certifcation is applicable to whome.Check the Intended Applicability of the Aerospace 91XX Standards (http://elsmar.com/Forums/showthread.php?t=24453) thread.
3. Are different certifications available, have different standards or it is a same standard for all certifications. See #2 above.
4. What are the important points to be implemented (other than ISO 9001) to achieve this certification (In brief) The requirements contained in AS9104 describe requirements imposed onto the AB's and CB's concerning the AS certification scheme. Indirectly, those requirements affect the registrants.

Acronym decoding
AB = accrediting body - the folks who determine who qualifies to be >>>
CB = certifying body - the folks sometimes called "registrars" who send out third party auditors to determine who qualifies to be a >>>
"registrant" = the individual organization which follows the Standard and had paid money to a third party (CB or registrar) to audit its operation and declare [certify] the organization meets the minimum requirements of the Standard.
