Hello:

I'm writing this topic because I would like to know "how do I construt a process map".
For each process I think it's important to define: Inputs/Outputs/Detail Activities/Control points/Measurement. Are there more points that must be considered?

Thanks in advance,

Zanzi

In my mind you are already there -

Define inputs and outputs and then identify the processes to achieve this transormation. As you state, where necessary be sure to highlight the controls and also remeber the role of QA in all processes.

In my writing of proces maps I usually go by the least number of steps to get things done. I try not to clutter and keep things simple. Auditors can only audit what is on paper and not what they think. hope this helps.

There is a section on process mapping, including several related forms, in the preview: QMS Implementation (http://elsmar.com/Imp/)
