I just "found" this in my Microsoft Office suite of programs and think it might work well for my company. Has anyone ever used this and what are your opinions, either pro or con?

Thanks! :)

For a product overview, click here (http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/infopath/HA101656341033.aspx).

I am not afilliated, nor employed by Microsoft.:D

We have been looking at it, too. No opinions yet.

I am a sub-contractor for a registrar that uses Microsoft InfoPath to generate the audit report.

The program works well for the application that I am using.

There are three versions of 2007 Office Pro: "Regular," "Plus," and "Ultimate." It appears (http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/suites/FX101635841033.aspx) that InfoPath is available only in the latter two varieties.

We use it for some HR and other stuff and as far as I'm concerned it's a big pain in the glutus maximus:lol:

We use InfoPath for our company-wide New Material application process. I didn't set up the form, so can't comment on the ease or difficulty of that. InfoPath replaced pre-existing Excel and pdf formats, so it can do all they can and more -- including checkboxes, text boxes, date stamps, attachments, multiple workflows for approvals etc. Our records are kept in a Sharepoint directory, so our file management is not part of InfoPath. However, all form fields are accessible for database queries.

If you do have InfoPath, there is a VirtualTour available on the opening screen.
