Hi Dear all,

I am new entrant in AS 9100 family and tries to interpret clauses, can any body help me out in clearing my following doubts. (Please forgive me if these are foolish questions)

1. In clause 7.3.1, what is the meaning of Planning constraint.
The complete requirement is as follows:
For each element, analyzing the tasks and the necessary resources for its design and development. This analysis shall consider and identified responsible person, design content, input data, planning constraint, and performance conditions. The input data specific to each element shall be reviewed to ensure consistency with requirements".

1. In clause 7.3.3, in my view we have listed out all possible outputs, then can some body illustrate what is meant by "design features of the product". The complete statement is as follows:
- a listing of those drawings, part lists and specifications necessary to define the configuration and the design features of the product"

3. In clause 7.3.5, under note, it is writtend as undertaking tests and demonstrations. How we can test a product at verification stage.

4. In clause 7.4.1, what is the meaning and how to fulfill requirement stated in requirement d. The full requirement is as follows:

ensure where required that both the organization and all suppliers use customer approved special process sources.

5. Can somebody gives the typical purchasing information in line with the requirement of clause 7.4.2.

I know the questions are more, and you people may be laughing at me, but I heard somewhere that there is no silly question, if you have doubt, you share however if you don't share, that is really silly.

If possible, kindly explain through some example.

Thanking in anticipation.

Those are all good questions but a bit much for any one person to respond to. Please try using the search function for each of those clauses as many of them have been discussed before.
