for additional details on what this is concerning?

It is beginning to sound like this may be a regional term, hang in there, hopefully someone from closer to your area will see this thread.

my mentor didn't give me information, just told me to find it at book, when i ask him, he :mad: and said try to find before asking, i looking to all book about accounting, i cant find, i search at web, still can't find, so maybe at this forum can help me... thank's before :(

If I am correct, Audit Pending is a term used by the International Financial Accounting Standard. When an organization's books are mostly finalized, but cannot be formally closed until after the results of an audit. It means there is not expected to be any futher changes.

Hope I got that right.

Its been a few years, but I don't recall ever seeing this term in accounting.

But, (wild guess) it could describe an issued financial report that has not yet been audited. Again, just a guess.

I don't know how much we may be able to assist you here. Most users are in the Quality field, not the accounting field. Your web search may have turned up this site because "auditing" is a common tool to verify process and procedures are followed as relating to a Quality Management System.
