Hi All,
At this moment we have work instructions on every station and each operator can access these. I have all instructions in Word documents and operators are accessing the PDF copies. My new BU Manager wants me to change our current documentation to DFT system. I have over 150 files and 3000 pages of WI in 3 languages. Do you now about some software which would make my job easier? Or do you have template made for DFT documents? Unfortunatelly my BU wants to start it now and first available training is in UK in July.
Thak you

Hi Thomas,
For some reason I can't upload a file from my work PC. When I get home tonight I will upload a file that contains three of the operation sequences from one station to give you an idea of what they look like. You'll notice that the three key items focused on are: Work content, TQC or key quality checks, and verify (checks on critical areas to make sure that work items from a previous station were completed).
The templates are in MS Excel, so it doesn't require any special software.

Hi Wayne,
I am not sure if you are just busy or you forget :) but I would really like to see the file you are writing about.
Thanks

Sorry about the delay. The attached file originally contained about 30 worksheets, but they contained more detailed photos than I thought was appropriate to post. This should give you a general idea though.

Thank you Wayne,
i am little bit worried that DFT work sheets are not the best idea for us - service/repair center. Most of the work is done on the computers with testing software. Do you think that DFT can be used in repair centre as effectively as in manufacture/assembly factories?
