Having recieved a copy of TS 16949 from BSI UK, I am amazed to see it thinner than QS9000. Is this just an update? Do I have the correct copy ?

View Full Version : Is TS 16949 thinner (less paper) than QS-9000? Don Baker 16th March 2000, 07:27 AM Having recieved a copy of TS 16949 from BSI UK, I am amazed to see it thinner than QS9000. Is this just an update? Do I have the correct copy ? Howard Atkins 17th March 2000, 02:00 AM I have the AIAG version 1999-03-01 42 pages. Bill M 31st March 2000, 01:10 AM It only appears thinner because each of the customer specific requirements is to be published separately as an addendum. For example, I have the General Motors ISO TS/16949 Customer-Specific Requirements from April 1999 (way out of date!) and it alone is 10 pages. |
