G.Ravi India Jim Wynne 20th May 2008, 09:35 AM Manufacturing tolerance standard JS-13 is required. Can anybody send me a copy ? G.Ravi India Welcome to the Cove. :bigwave: Are you referring to a JIS (Japanese) standard? If so, it's copyright-protected document and we don't exchange those here. If it's something else, please provide more information and maybe someone can help.. neyveliravi 24th May 2008, 06:13 AM Thanks for your reply. This is a caterpillar std. G.Ravi Stijloor 24th May 2008, 06:58 AM Thanks for your reply. This is a caterpillar std. G.Ravi If you do work for Caterpillar, you should be able to get it from them directly. Obtain customer-specific standards from the customer. Have you contacted them? Stijloor. Jim Wynne 24th May 2008, 10:58 AM Thanks for your reply. This is a caterpillar std. G.Ravi Give the full identification for the standard (number, title, etc.) and I might be able to help, but not until after the weekend (Tuesday, May 27). The best path, though, is as Stijloor suggested--contact your customer. SteelMaiden 24th May 2008, 11:12 AM If you are doing work for Cat, or one of their suppliers, they will(should) send you the spec they expect you to work from. I've never had a problem getting specs for their work. If people expect you to work to a spec, especially a customer requirement, they should be willing to tell you what that spec requires. imho |
