If you're referring to the the 'Referrer' system built into the vBulletin software, when someone registers there is a place for the person to enter the Forum User Name of the person who referred them. The software does use a counter to count referrals but we don't do anything with the system. That is to say, there's no 'prize' or anything like that associated with the number of referrals. I don't monitor 'Referrals' so I couldn't even tell you who has referrals or how many without taking a look. Is there something specific you had in mind? That will get them to the main page. Let them know that registration is free and will allow them to read and post in the general topics. You may want to remind them that there are some nice extras available to contributing members too. I don't keep track, but I know of quite a few people who have registered here as a result. |
