Thread titles are set to allow for editing for 14 days by the person who started the thread. If YOU start a discussion thread and want to change the title for any reason (spelling error or what ever), this is what you do:

The 'Easy Way' -- Go to the forum listing of threads in the forum your thread is in and locate the thread. Double click to the RIGHT of the thread title. The title box will 'open up':

Simply type in your changes and then set them by hitting the 'Enter' or 'Return' key on your computer keyboard, or click outside the edit box with your mouse. NOTE: This method does not change the title in the first post of the thread so the changed title will not carry through in reply titles which are based on the first post. This isn't a 'huge' issue, because many replies will be titled by referencing a quoted post or a 'Quick Reply' to a specific post.


The 'Best' way to change the title of your thread:

Go to the First post in the thread you started. Click on the 'Edit' button:
