- Dry rubbing (50 back and forth)

1. What type of coating/paint/finishing material are you referring to?
2. What is the substrate or base material this coating is applied to?
3. Any particular standard is being referred - example: ECCA, etc

If this is about testing on textiles :
Years ago I have been involved in lab testing on textiles.
We got an " abrasion test " for solidity of colour.

The parts were tested by rubbing them under different condtions like you stipulated and were compared to a " grey scale " to check for colour change.
