I am currently in my capstone class; trying to achieve a B.A. for Business Management. I would like some suggested topics for my final paper. This is going to be a research paper, apprx 12 pages and can be anything concerning the understanding and application of knowledge of leadership practice. I love to write and research but coming up with the topic is killing me. Any and all suggestions would be a help.:frust:

Inge,

Think about the study and application of leadership practices; starting from the beginning until now.

When was leadership first studied? Why? Who were the people that studied this? What were the results? How were the results used? What industries/organizations?

If you follow this development through times, you may see an interesting pattern develop. There is plenty of information available.

You may limit your study to the USA, or may take a look at other parts of the world.

You may even draw some interesting parallels between the USA and Europe.

This organization may be a great resource for you:

Just some ideas that may help you "prime the pump."

Good luck Inge. Check in with us when you developed your outline.

Stijloor,

I think that is absolutely genius. I haven't read much on early leadership practices so it's something I can really dig into. I will let you know if the professor accepts the topic.

Many thanks,

Inge
