I am starting a new four slide and stamping company in the next few weeks manufacturing any thing from washers to wire forms. I was just wondering what system would be the best fit and if any one had an ball park on the cost. We will have 4 to 5 employees.

Usually new companies start off with ISO 9001, depending on the industry they want to serve.

For a company your size, consulting costs could be around 6-8k and registration costs, usually 3 year contract could be 6-7k.

Danny is right - you could use ISO 9001 to start with. I also saw many organizations in your segment are certified to ISO 9001.
