Hello, I am the quality manager at a stamping plant that just opened up in Costa Rica. We have a sister plant in the States that I am copying the quality system from. They were QS but they have converted to TS so I am using there sytem as a base. I have all of the documents and procedures but I have to put it all together down here. They do not have a quality manual so to speak of. I am trying to put together some sort of checklist and a time frame to implement it. No on seems to want to volunteer to be an auditor so I think that is going to be a problem. I have the audit checklist to go off of but I think I need more of a general one to go off of. As of ritht now I know I have to implement employee trainig and record it. I have to get some auditors trained and certified and record that also. I also need to implement some kind of plan for continual improvement for every process. I would gladly appreciate any help or advise. Thanks in advance.

Do you have a copy of TS 16949?
Have you done a gap analysis?

:bigwave: Welcome MrHolshot :bigwave:
As Marc has advised, a copy of TS 16949 is a pre requisite. Are you going for multisite registration? I am attaching a few files for awareness & training and a checklist. Hope this helps.

One of my favorite and also well organized thread in the TS forum is this: A TS 16949 Implementation through Registration Project Diary - Automotive (http://elsmar.com/Forums/showthread.php?t=8664)
A must read for anybody starting or planning to implement a TS project.

Hi,
Manuals for TS16949 are readily available and posted in different threads. I just made search... http://elsmar.com/pdf_files/Quality%20and%20Other%20Manuals/, you can try this.
I can volunteer myself to be an auditor to audit your quality system. :D Auditing is a skill and one must be competent enough to conduct the audit.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
