Being from a remote site which has two locations. How does my fellow auditors handle the communcation failures between to locations. My example is "The documentation procedure I didn't read it because the president signed it"

What's your point here? The Auditors aren't communicating or something. You will need to be a little more specific here.

I'm sorry I thought my example was enough. The document controller stated " I didn't read the revised document procedure because the president signed it." This caused a major stir between the two document controllers. Being the QA adim. I am in the middle.

You have two sites and two document "controllers"? Are the two sites under the umbrella of a single QMS registration? "...because the president signed it" doesn't seem like a good reason for not reading a document--can you explain the rationale (why that person thought it was a good reason)?

Ok...that better clarifies your post.

Now to address your question: It really doesn't look like a failure to communicate, it looks more like a person doesn't read things that are signed by the President. That is a personal thing.

Is there some reason why the person doesn't read documents signed by the President? That person needs to re-evaluate their dedication to the Organization. That is more of someone doesn't care about the organization, and if this was happening to someone that works for me directly, I would have a stern discussion with them, and find out why they feel that way, in my opinion.

Yes we are under the umbrella certifcation. Thank you for your reply. I think its a personal thing between the document controllers. Time to have a meeting

Wars are started by people failing to communicate. Time for a face-to-face meeting (with a staff member or arbitrator, if necessary). They need to be on the same page.
