If you require the ISO TS 16949:2002 Technical Specification in the UK or Europe it is available from the Society of Motor Manufacturers & Traders Ltd. Web site www.smmt.co.uk . Currently on the web site there is a voucher for 50% off untill 30 Sep. The Promotion code is LDSEP01
TS 16949 is £22.50 (it sells for £69 on some sites) and Rules for Achieving IATF Reconition is £7.50. Postage is minimal.
I have no association with this company but thought other Cove menbers might be interested.

I don't believe that the SMMT or other affiliates believe there's sufficient change in the ISO 9001 (2008) requirements to justify a revision.

TS 16949 and the rules document will change in the near future. I am going to guess this is why they are on sale.
See the other threads on the changes to ISO 9001 and consequently TS 16949.
