Forum User Name - Choosing a forum User Name

When you first Register, you will see this screen:

Please: No company names.
No web site names.
No 'special' characters such as @ / ? # $ % ^ & etc.
No email addresses.
No vulgarity or profanity.

Under no circumstances should any Cove member make a public post regarding a suspected violation of this Forum User Name policy. Such a post will only disrupt the thread it is in.

If you see a violation, and you think it is 'significant', please use the 'Report this Post' http://elsmar.com/Forums/images/buttons/report.gif button. The moderators and I are notified of the Report and a discussion thread is started in the Moderator's forum where we will discuss the Forum User name. If the Report is valid, Marc or a Moderator will contact the person and effect a Forum User name change.

NOTE: This is NOT a significant problem. But, it has come up, thus this clarification policy.

I want to add:
"Any Cove member who comes across a post by a person whose user name seems to violate this "Term of Service," should click on the "Report Post" link in the upper right corner of the post to alert Administrators and Moderators, who will deal with the issue as required."
