Marc,

I love your list of Rules, Policies, and Disclaimers. How long did it take you to compile that list of miscellaneous warnings and disclaimers? As if you did'nt have enough to keep you busy with the "serious' stuff at the Cove! It seriously cracked me up! Funny stuff!

The mind reels to imagine where you read some of these things. http://16949.com/ubb/smile.gif

Norm,

I also found it very amusing. Printed a copy. One can imagine the effort that went into it. Probably was a one to three month project that required looking at everything over again with an eye for warnings and instructions. Marc probably started with the cupboards and cabinets in his humble abode in the Caymans. He didn't miss a lot. I'm sure he could revise it with additions since it's inception. Can't tell because it doesn't appear to be a controlled document with revisions, etc..Imagine that! That would be a website revision..oh, that's already a current topic in the Forum.

If you can think of something you want to add, e-mail it to me and I'll add it.

About the only addition I can think of is: "may cause drowsiness". (But this is, after all, a web site about QA topics, so maybe that goes without saying.)

Surely, quality assurance is not a boring topic to you! These forums should make you want to 'come alive'! My log analysis shows the most activity after we Americans are gone from work! I thought it was folks from overseas visiting but I guess maybe it's that many folks use these forums instead of sleeping pills.

Marc,

*I* certainly do not think that QA subjects are sleep-inducing, but I know many others who do.

I recently had to give a QS9000 presentation to a group of people right after a big lunch right after they just got off a long flight. They did not even make it through my first slide!

Makes me wish you had a "sleepy" message icon...

Hilarious list!!!

The scary question is.... how many people out there can identify the items associated with each phrase?

Cheers!!

Mike
