Does anyone have any idea why Chrysler removed their requirement to notify the registrar/certification body when the site is placed on "Needs Improvement" status? I have always understood this to be one of the cornerstones of TS16949.
Are the other OEM's moving in this direction as well?
Former Requirement
4.1.4 Certification Body/Registrar Notification
An organization shall notify their certification body/registrar in writing within five (5) working days
when Chrysler places the site in the "Needs Improvement" category. Being in this category is a
violation of 8.2.1.1 of ISO/TS 16949.
Current Requirement
4.1.4 Certification Body/Registrar Notification
