while doing internal audit i found that one issue is not according to the procedure what is getting followed in the organization but was mentioned differently in quality manual so in such issues what i have to do?
can i amend the quality manual immediately or shall i have to raise a n.c for that and then amendments to be done?

I've noticed that you've posted a number of similar topics recently. Have you had any (basic) training in quality management systems?
This question is a basic topic that would have been covered for you, including having hands on experience, if you had gone to an effective auditor training course. I would suggest that it's not going to do you much good to post each individual question you get, here at the Cove, and learn by the small steps each time. Apart from anything else, eventually, people will get tired of trying to answer them.
DO you have a way to get your company to sponsor you to attend some form of training courses?

i am really sorry to trouble you people, i dont have any way to get sponsor and i want to get in to and finish the job, thats the reason why i put even small doubts so that i can do my job well, if you people feel that i should not put questions like this then thats ok sir, i will try to find on my own through some books, i dont have any other option, the problem really is when i put a question nobody answers the question in deep so that i clear all of my doubts.
any how if i troubled you people i am really sorry for that.
and thanks alot for the help you people extended to me
uptill now.

I think you had misinterpreted Andy's good advice. He is merely suggesting that you should go for proper training and it would make life easier for you and raised your capacity to perform better for your organization. That is on the assumption that there is management commitment to provide adequate resources.
However, if you are facing problems like what you had just explained, let us know and keep posting - someone here will respond to you.

If you can't get your company to sponsor you to attend a class, I'd suggest a good book on auditing. There are many available, maybe somebody here would recommend one........
In the context of your asking about such basic things, I have to ask a few questions of your organization:
Are you the only auditor in your organization? Don't you have anyone else to ask these types of (basic) questions. Is your organization registered to ISO 9000? For how long? Did anyone do audits before you started doing them? Can you review their findings to see if they wrote similar non-conformances?
Has anyone there had training on ISO 9000 or how to audit? If not, and you are registered, I'd suggest that you point this out to your CB auditor at their next visit and have them report a lack of competent resources for internal audits (and anything else they can find..........)
Maybe, just maybe, you'll get some training that way.......
