Hello...

Until which chain of supply if it must carry through the development of applied management of the quality to the criteria of ISO/TS 16949 - 7.4.1.2 ?
Until which supplying chain must apply ? Tier 2, 3, 4 or other criteria ?

Which the criterion for those suppliers, that do not develop products to take care of the necessity of the Customer but yes to launch in the market where the Customer I look this to know to take care of itself, it must be developed as suggested requirement - 7 "Accomplishment of the product" of ISO TS 16949 ?

But we must lead in consideration that the supplier does not carry through nothing for the Customer, but yes it all projects the product for the Market ?

Tks.

Each organization at each level in the supply chain has to determine if imposing ISO/TS 16949:2002 on their suppliers makes sense. For example, it does not make good business sense to impose this requirement on a supplier whose automotive business is only 5% of its sales. As you cascade down the supply chain, this becomes more and more apparent.

I can see Tiers 1 and 2, perhaps 3; but then....? ISO 9001 including the customer-specific requirements can be a very good alternative for the "lower" tiers.
