I am in a very active job search and was looking for some help either from an employer who needs someone or for advice on places to check out.

I am a Quality Manager with mostly system (ISO), Process (5S/Kaizen), and Supplier Quality experience. I am a certified Lead Internal Auditor -ISO-9001 and TS-16949. Additionally I have a CQT and a Supplier Quality Engineer Certificate. I have lead numerous ISO implementations and they all lead to a successful registrations.

I have human resources and legal services experience. I can speak some Spanish and I don't mind travel.

I am seeking opportunities outside the automotive industry.

I should also include that I need to be in the Cincinnati/Dayton/Springfield, OH area.

ThanksI don't mean to sound like a troll, beating a drum for my own agenda, but I promise you the threads I list below will give you insight into the job hunt business.

The essence of a successful job hunt is that it IS a hunt. Consider duck or goose hunting. You could close your eyes, stand in a blind, and fire your shotgun into the air time after time (until the barrel melts from the heat), hoping a duck might fly into the field of shot OR you could set out some decoys, open your eyes, and wait to fire until you actually see a duck in range.

The analogy is you can look for a job by blindly sending out resumes to every company or you can do some research to decide which companies might need the particular skills and experience you have to offer and concentrate on them, once they "come into range."
