Dear Sir,

I need a synopsis /inter linkage of ISO/TS 16949 and TQM.

In case an organisation is applying for Deming Prize (TQM Implementation award) what activities need to be incorporated in additon to TS compliance.

Regards

Ganesh,

I am not a Deming Prize expert. However, you could obtain the application criteria and compare those with the requirements of ISO/TS16949:2002.

The requirements of Section 5 (management responsibility) and Section 8 (measurement, analysis and improvement) definitely align with the Deming Prize criteria.

You need to do some work because I have never seen a point-by-point comparison. It is doable IMHO.

If you google Deming Prize requirements you will find what it contains, which you can then compare to TS.
