New Posts will not be shown in the normal navbar page links (Posts last 24 Hours and Since Last Visit) any more. If you want to see new posts in the controversial topics forum, you can visit that forum (good idea to just Bookmark it), or you can use either of these as a Bookmark in your browser:

Get Daily (Posts last 24 Hours):
http://Elsmar.com/Forums/search.php?do=getdaily

Since Last Visit:
http://Elsmar.com/Forums/search.php?do=getnew

You can also simply go to the Controversial Topics forum (http://elsmar.com/Forums/forumdisplay.php?f=143) and use the Forum Tools to 'Subscribe' to the forum:

I'm afraid that attention is being drawn from the 'core forum focus'. I couldn't even get anyone to reply in a post asking for specific text changes to the the ISO 9001 standard just released.

I like this idea. When I see one of the contriversial threads listed in the SLV listing I can't resist. Kind of like knowing a train wreck is going to happen. This way I have to go looking for a fight.

The threads can be interesting, but I doubt that any minds will be changed. In fact quite the opposite, I believe that the threads actually make folks become more entrenched.

Just to clarify... they will still show up in the Today's Active discussion section, correct?

Correct. I haven't found a way to get them off the main forum page's listing of active threads, but I'm working on it.
