I have been consulting to several clients that have been approached by their registars warning them that they must be compliant to ISO/IEC 17025 in their labs as of jan 1,2001. My question is where is this stated in qs9000?

I think that some ''crosstalk'' is happening in the reading of the requirement. Perhaps this link will give some insight to what some are confused on.
