I am working in clothing industry in Bangladesh. We are trying to standardize our sewing tasks. I found some PMTS data for sewing used by different company, namely GSD, Methods WorkShop, Seweasy, SDM. Are this PMTS codes right protected. Will there be any problem with copyright incase we use them.

Or, can anyone of you provide PMTS data that can be used without copyright violation.

You are correct to ask about copyright. I am not familiar with these methods, but I can draw some distinctions.

Methods based on basic quality management principles are not necessarily copyright protected, but a piece of literature describing them or a specifically designed tool used to apply them might have some type of protection.

I would start with the source. See what entity produced these tools you mention. Does the source give contact information? I once asked for, and received written permission from the Chrysler Corporation to use the Dodge Demon image on the cover of a book about decoding VINs.
