Stijloor 29th December 2008, 02:22 PM  Can someone please tell me what the "C" in "C=0" means? In advance, thank you! Hello! Welcome the The Cove Forums! :bigwave: :bigwave: Look here (http://elsmar.com/Forums/showthread.php?t=16427). Stijloor. lego55 29th December 2008, 04:19 PM Sorry, but I have looked at almost all the threads; I don't see an actual reference to the "C" part of the "C=0." I know that it has to do with acceptance, but how did the letter "C" come about? Thank you! tsmith7858 29th December 2008, 05:00 PM I am not sure that it comes from anything in particular. Generally speaking its meaning in sampling plans is as you stated "acceptance". It is the acceptance number or acceptance value used in the sampling plan. In "C=0" no defects can be found in the accepted sample size. In "C=1" one defect can be found, and so forth. This might help explain it: http://www.wisc-online.com/objects/index_tj.asp?objID=QLT1804 Stijloor 29th December 2008, 06:49 PM  Can someone please tell me what the "C" in "C=0" means?
