Hi there,

not sure if I should post here. Recently I have a customers asking an advice on their routine test Lab qualification...

What if the NSA for an Anechoic Chamber is expired before the next NSA is arranged (says a gaps of 3-4 weeks without valid NSA)? What should he fault the Test Lab for if there are testing to be done during the period?

Is the NSA-survey period of validity of arbitrary length, or is it in some manner related to environmental stability and chamber usage?

Did the problem arise because a manager was forgetful or made poor choices in regard to scheduling and prioritization of operations vs. chamber and staff time for regulatory compliance, or because someone made a possibly valid technical judgment that the dominant physically relevant factors in the NSA survey had not changed?

The validity is stated in FCC requirement to conduct every 3 yearly. As for the problem, from what I understand was due to the supplier conducting the NSA was not able to schedule accordingly (due to resource problem).
