Valeri 3rd February 2009, 03:34 PM Brian,
FYI - I just went to www.indeed.com used search terms as: quality and wisconsin and there were several. Best of luck.
Brizilla 3rd February 2009, 03:49 PM Thanks, I'll be looking there.
I live in Woodstock Illinois.
Marc 3rd February 2009, 04:51 PM Marc, I don't think I'll be able to re-up for awhile. Sorry.
That's never an issue.
My best wishes in finding another income. I know it can be a terrible experience. I went through it years ago and it was bad. I can't imagine what it would be like in today's economy.

Kevin H 6th February 2009, 04:12 PM Brian, don't ignore Craigslist - I look for the heck of it around Pittsburgh occasionally under the arch/engineering section Typically their are more jobs listed there than in the local newspapers. Also, our local ASQ section seems to attract job listings that don't appear elsewhere - I'd check the web site for your local section as well.
At one time, the Pittsburgh Post Gazette was a powerhouse for engineering job listings both locally and out of the area. No longer - it's all on Monster, Yahoo Hot Jobs, or Career Builder.
If you have the background, Westinghouse in western PA is looking for quality professionals to staff up their quality function for the nuclear plants that have been ordered. Never much fun to move, but the weather's a little better than that in the greater Chicago area. Best of luck in finding another position.
Brizilla 9th February 2009, 06:17 PM Thanks for the love.
I'm not going to relocate so I need something within 50 miles of Woodstock Illinois. That does include Rockford, Kenosha and Chicago.
The wifey is a tenured teacher. So no move.
Just bought our 1st house, made our ist payment 14 days before I was let go.

Is the new house the one with the entertainment room?
NOTE: Rockford has a decent size industrial park. Have you beat that area pretty well?

Brizilla 9th February 2009, 06:34 PM I've never had that name in my title. :notme:
Even though I've always preached that no reach is too far for your grasp, this would require tippy tippy toes to just touch. I could probably do it but I doubt I could convince them of that.
Quality Manager experience and below.

NOTE: Rockford has a decent size industrial park. Have you beat that area pretty well?Sadly, Rockford is undergoing similar shrinkage to Detroit - very sad.

Nope no entertainment room, but the house is nice.
I'll be road tripping up there next week to make a swing thru some major manufacturerers to drop some resumes.
