Got a new program kicking off in a few months using a screw that is already existing in production on another program that we have. It was PPAP approved 18 months ago, whats the rule on this? Does the supplier have to submit a new PPAP?

I agree. Unless there are customer requirements to the contrary, you've done your bit in qualifying the part.

Might want to verify the PPAP was submitted to the correct stage for the state of your program (as in production vs. prototype?)

1. In PPAp manual, if the screw is has not used over 1 year, you should be submit new PPAP
2. you need not submit PPAp if it is not require from customer

The best approach would be to submit a copy of the warrant for the previous PPAP. That provides traceability to the original submission and demonstrates that the missing data were not an oversight.
