This is a serious inquiry. I am applying for a position and that is the acronym I was given. PSOMAS???:confused::confused::confused:

Is it associated with Automotive? And if so, can you reveal the organization that uses this acronym?

The staffing firm keeps the name of their client private. I did find out that PSOMAS is a typographical error and does not exist.

Maybe they're trying to weed out people who try to show that they know everything. I can see the cover letters now... "My qualifications include years of practical experience using PPAP, SPC, FMEA, PSOMAS, MSA, and all of the other relevant buzzwords."

Probably not legal, definitely not ethical, but they can always claim it was just a typo... :notme:
