I am looking for a PCB Assy. Inspection Checklist. If anyone has a template it would be appreciated.

Does anyone have any templates that they would like to share?

The checklist would cover the entire source activity, not only the assy. inspection.

If you could be more specific about the process, you might get more helpful responses. For example, in your original post you asked for an assembly checklist, and now you indicate that you want something more than that. What do you mean by "the entire source activity"?

Agreed. My company has produced 12" x 8" circuit board assemblies with massive heat sinks and power devices installed. We also have made small assemblies with 1 transistor and 3 resistors installed. Definitely two different approaches to the assemblies. One size does NOT fit all.

Aeroqual, it might be better if you sit down with your manufacturing people and walk through your process. You and your team would have a better idea of what the finished assembly should be rather than the members here at The Cove. Define your steps of part placement, additional mechanical assembly, inspection, soldering, conformal coating (if required), and/or any other steps.
