Hello,

I am currently using the Ansi/ASQ sampling tables for inspection of items in the production line, and willing to calculate yield for a specific period of time (more than one batch)
What is the way of performing such calculations (since sampling size varies)?
I have attached a file of how In my opinion it should be calculated. Question, are those calc. are right?

Thanks

I think you are doing it right. The calculation you show is a simple weighted average, which is designed for just such a case where you average items that occur in groups with differing numbers of items. (You can google "weighted average" for more background (or to convince your customer you are doing it right ;) )
