I've been asked to validate the geometry of a 8 mm pitch, 22 tooth Gates HTD sprocket (nominal pitch Ø 2.206 and nominal OD 2.152). I've found very little information on the internet. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Maybe a wax impression, then measure it using a comparator or something, might work.

Have you looked here (http://www.gates.com/brochure.cfm?brochure=3117&location_id=3881)? You could also contact the engineering or quality department at Gates. Contact page (http://www.gates.com/contact/index.cfm?location_id=527).

The print only give the information I listed (PD & OD).
Thanx for the responses. I've sent an email to Gates. Hopefully, they can help.
