Dear All
I wondered if people could share how they monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions raised in response to non conformances.

Many thanks

It's weekend and a little quiet on The Cove Forums...
But, if you scroll down this page, you find links that may be of use to you.
Come Monday, you'll receive more responses.

That's great thank you. I searched the forum beforehand thinking this would be a popular/common Q but my search wasn't thorough enough!

Thank you and looking forward to hearing more views post w/e.

Did you find (some of) the information you were looking for?

I did an advanced search on: "Effectiveness of Corrective Action."

Here are the results (http://www.google.com/custom?domains=Elsmar.com&q=Effectiveness+of+Corrective+Action.&sa=Search&sitesearch=Elsmar.com&client=pub-1385417534940691&forid=1&channel=6124086287&ie=ISO-8859-1&oe=ISO-8859-1&cof=GALT%3A%23008000%3BGL%3A1%3BDIV%3A%23336699%3BVLC%3A663399%3BAH%3Acenter%3BBGC%3AFFFFFF%3BLBGC%3A000099%3BALC%3A000000%3BLC%3A000000%3BT%3A0000FF%3BGFNT%3A0000FF%3BGIMP%3A0000FF%3BLH%3A50%3BLW%3A350%3BL%3Ahttp%3A%2F%2Felsmar.com%2Fpng%2Fheader-G-search.png%3BS%3Ahttp%3A%2F%2FElsmar.com%2FForums%2F%3BFORID%3A1%3B&hl=en). Some more searching within those threads is necessary...

Effectiveness is in non-repeat of what raised the nonconformance, but we also track responsiveness to the request for CA, time to fix, and time to close.

We found that one good way to shorten response time and improve the energy level was to adopt a cooperative approach. I now send out drafts of my audit reports and ask if everything is correct. We also have meetings in the more complex cases, where the recipients will need to have awareness raised, where resources are needed, and/or where responsibilities are unclear/shared.
