View Full Version : Surveillance assessment coming....

Our surveillance assessment is coming up. I have reservations the way my lab has been audited. First and foremost, all clauses of the standard are audited rather than the selected ones.
Can I raise concern about it or ask the accreditation body to consider their practice ?
Any comments/ feedbacks are appreciated!

That depends.....if it is a normal re-assessment, then likely all Clauses will be re-assessed.....that is typically every two years.....

What exactly did you mean by "selected clauses"?

this audit is not re assessment, it is surv. assessment!
In our surv. assessment each & every clause is being audited, I would like to know what is the usual practice of your accreditation body?
Can I raise my concern with my accred. body?
comments appriciated!

May I ask why you would care? It seems more helpful to have all elements audited!

My thoughts where on the same line.... if there is nothing to hide :notme: then there should not be a concern as long as the time spent auditing these clauses outside of the program is not affecting the time allocated for the overall audit.

Typically a surveillance is a bit shorter, and it may not require every Clause to be reviewed, but certainly many will be, and technical demonstrations are also typically fewer in number.

However, the AB will proceed as their own policies dictate.
