View Full Version : Warehousing under ISO/QS9000 wgrodkie@yazaki-na.com 6th October 2000, 11:52 AM How do other strictly pass thru warehouses handle the issue of receiving inspection related to their ISO or QS9000 registration? Marc 8th October 2000, 03:52 PM I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean you receive raw materials / parts / assemblies to a warehouse and inspect them later (such as when they are moved to manufacturing for use)? Need clarification / more info. e.s.deo 26th October 2000, 02:59 AM Warehouses as such can not go for qs9000 registration on their own. With sites they need to be covered as remote locations. For all activities handled by such warehouses , compliance to requirements has to be shown. This goes just in the same way as these activities would have been carried out at the parent site itself.... Thanks e.s.deo |
