Are any of you folks having any difficulty in getting your scopes published correctly from your accreditation body? It appears that there may be an effort underway to standardize things such as units of measurement, especially in the area of uncertainties, is this causing any problems for anyone? We have had some problems with typo’s and the condensing of data also. I’m just wondering if these types of issues are common or if I’m just lucky. :notme:
Also can some of you let me know how long it took to get your scope published after changes, etc. in the past?

Thanks

There are efforts on-going to standardize scopes, and have been for several years. There is also the issue of some flexibility for the scopes.

Each AB will have its own review process, and depending on the complexity of the scope can require several back-and-forth.

It does get frustrating to be sure, but the ABs do need to make sure things are as correct as possible, recognizing some mistakes still happen.

Hope this helps.
