Dear all.
I am New to the SPC ,so I know something about "Sigma" Value .But Calculating sigma is lengthy ,so anybody can suggest me if there any another shortcut methode or formula.please tell me in brief.:)

I may be stating the very obvious, but any calculator with some statistical functions can do that for you. Note that the standard deviation (sigma) can be calculated for a sample and a population. I hope that's what your asking. If not, let us know.

What are you using to make the calculus?, if Excel, a macro could do the dirty job for you.
