Sir,
Our company is in the process of getting AS9100 certification. As per AS9100 Rev B, clause 7.6,CONTROLLING AND MONITORING OF MEASURING DEVICES ,
The organization shall maintain a register of these monitoring and measuring devices, and define the process employed for their calibration including details of equipment type, unique identification, location, frequency of checks, check method and acceptance criteria.
But we don't know what is meant by equipment type?
Is equipment name is same as equipment type?
How to get the acceptance criteria for all the equipments/instruments? for e.g: clinometer, spirit level, surface table/surface plate etc.
How to prepare the calibration certificate for our instruments? Is there any website available which will guide us in this?
