Typically filters either select or exclude a given bandwidth. That is, if 1kHz to 10kHz is a selected frequency, that can pass, all others are rejected. Or if 1-10kHz is to be excluded then anything except that range can pass, up to the maximum frequency range.

To calibrate the filters, you will need to know whether you are selecting frequencies to pass or frequencies to be excluded, the complete frequency range of the filters, and the power level it can take.

After that, selecting the appropriate equipment is easy.

The manufacturer's manual if you have one should help with this.
