Hello All,
I work for a Tier 2 Automotive Supplier and currently we have all calibrations of gages / check fixtures etc perfomred using an outside calibration company. We would like to move some of these calibration in-house. I know the requirment (IS/TS) states that it must be traceable back to a recongized standard and we would meet that requirment with gage blocks for calipers, CMM, etc) but what I need to find out is what are the in-house requirments to perform these calibrations?
Example: Use our calibrated CMM (calibrated by outside co certified to the 17025 standard) to calibrate check fixtures we use on our assembly lines.
I know I have to develope the scope but am wondering what else is required? Temperature, humidity recorded daily? etc.....
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
