I've been asked to present a brief overview (20 mins) on how Lean can be used to assist in a healthcare environment. Does anyone have a simple presentation on the subject? If not in healthcare, in the office environment would help.

Wayne provided some links in this post (http://elsmar.com/Forums/showpost.php?p=210132&postcount=3)and in this thread: Knowledge about Lean - Applications and Implementation in Service Industries (http://elsmar.com/Forums/showthread.php?t=23290&highlight=lean+healthcare)
You should check out the Lean Enterprise Institute. There you can find:
1) Success Stories
2) Articles on lean in healthcare.
3) Articles on areas other than the shopfloor.
Registration is required for access to these areas, but it is free and easy.
