We are a Construction Company. In our company we are doing design works also. We have not implement a Aspect Register for design work. In the ISO 14001 First Audit, an observation made as "Incorporation of EMS related criteria during various stages of design and development process should be explicitly indicated in the documentation." by the Auditors.

Even though we mention the corrective action as "EMS related criteria will be incorporated during the design phase of each design", I do not know how to establish "EMS related criteria". Help me to write this type of comprehensive criteria. If anyone has a sample, please provide.

3. Have you determined the aspects/impacts to the environment as a result of your design work?

Dear Sir,

At the moment we are doing structural designing works on Buildings, Bridges and tower foundations at a location authorized by the government. But the Auditor ask for a comprehensive criteria covering all the activities even which we are not doing at the moment.

I tried do Aspect/Impact assessment but I do not know how to combine present situation and future situation (After Construction over) in to one sheet. Therefore I stop preparing.
